New Life Family:
We realize that being a parent is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding jobs you can have, which is why we want to come alongside you to assist you in anyway necessary. Whether you have a newborn, a 3rd grader, as 7th grader, or a high school student, it’s our goal to partner with you at every phase! We want to be able to provide you with the resources and support you need to help you feel supported, encouraged, and loved by your church family!
SAFETY & SECURITY
At New Life Christian Center we take caring for your child very seriously! We want to uphold safety as a primary value for both, the child and the leader. To ensure this, we want you to be fully informed of the procedures asked of our volunteers, leaders, and parents. Thank you for allowing us to come alongside you and your child, as we provide the safest experience for our church family!
Check-In Procedures
Children must be checked-in by initially filling out a white card with all information that would ensure the child’s well being. The check-in process will be through Fellowship One, a computer based check-in system. Both parent and child are to receive a unique alphanumeric code that is randomly generated each week. You, the parent, will receive a corresponding code to ensure the right person picks up your child. To ensure safety, a New Life leader will verify codes upon dismissal.
Volunteers & Staff
All volunteers and leaders are carefully screened before they can begin working in any classroom. This is accomplished by filling out a comprehensive application, a background check (both state and federal), an interview by their ministry leader, and on-the-job training.
Allergies & Special Needs
It is very important to us to take the best care of your child. For us to adequately do this, we ask you notify us of any and all allergies, medical, or behavioral special needs, so we can assist your child to the best of our ability.
Visitors
You are welcome to check out one of our children’s areas. In order to ensure the safety of our kids, visitors will be asked to sign-in and out and wear a visitor tag during your visit.
General Wellness Guidelines
To ensure the health of children and volunteers, we ask that any child showing signs of fever, vomiting, diarrhea, skin infection/rash, lice or other contagious illnesses not attend New Life Kids classes, activities, or events.
We follow these guidelines and we expect that a child or volunteer be free of fever for at least 24 hours before attending New Life Christian Center. In the event of a contagious disease (lice, chicken pox, etc.), parents will be notified via a note home or e-mail.
